New Relic is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our outstanding Engineering organization! Technical Program managers play a vital role at New Relic leading large cross functional programs in support of our strategic objectives. This Learning and Development TPM will create and lead technical training and development initiatives for the Engineering, Product and Design organization with a focus on onboarding.
What you’ll do
Maintain and update technical onboarding programs and enable our new hires with the foundational technical knowledge, processes, skills and people connections to ensure success in their roles.Work with subject matter experts to edit course content leveraging video, Articulate Rise, or other learning design software as neededFacilitate and support all new hire onboarding slack channels, completions, questions, etc.Work with leaders to ensure timely completion of onboarding programsWork collaboratively with Leaders and Subject Matter Experts within the assigned area to establish meaningful and worthwhile learning experiences that build core competencies and technical skills.Identify and operationalize the metrics and key performance indicators necessary to track program success (examples include qualitative surveys and metrics that track engagement and improvements to productivity)Plan, organize, and facilitate the successful completion of all assigned technical learning events.Serve as the LMS (learning management system) administrator for the Engineering, Product, and Design organizationProvide completion data and reports as neededFacilitate enrollments of coursesLoad and maintain all EPD course contentFind solutions for current training gaps and develop new internal training content and programsYou will deliver results-oriented goals that require broad alignment and coordination across multiple teams both inside and outside of engineering.
This role requires
5+ years of proven experience working with software development teams as a technical program manager 2+ years of equivalent experience in implementing Learning and Development practices for highly technical teams.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) implementation and system administration
